Volunteer hub on Timecounts

Organizations on Timecounts have their own volunteer hub, which they can customize, post opportunities, and keep updated information about volunteering that you can read and download.

Creating a Timecounts login

If you're volunteering with an organization on Timecounts for the first time, you must create an account. Signing up is easy! Just provide your full name and email address. After you register, be sure to verify your email to activate your account.

We require a login for all signups to enhance your experience and secure your information. By creating an account, we can personalize your volunteer opportunities based on your qualifications and interests, ensuring you see the most relevant options available.

If you’re having trouble creating an account or need assistance, please contact support at [email protected]. Alternatively, you can reach out directly to your volunteer organization, which can manually assign you to opportunities based on their requirements. You can find the information in the volunteer hub footer if you don't have their contact details.

Your volunteer dashboard

After logging into Timecounts, you’ll land on your Volunteer Dashboard. This is your central hub where you can manage your volunteer activities. Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll find:

  • Upcoming Shifts and Events: Easily view all your upcoming volunteer commitments at a glance.

  • Track Tab: If your organization allows it, you can log additional volunteer hours through the Track tab. You can also view a history of all credited hours you’ve volunteered.

  • Profile Tab: This is where you can update your personal information, including your email and password. You can also manage your communication preferences, ensuring you receive updates and notifications that matter to you.

Connecting with your organization

Once connected to an organization, a new feature appears at the top of your Volunteer Dashboard: a box that leads you directly to the Opportunities page. Here, you can:

  • Sign Up for Events: Browse various available events and shifts for you to join.

  • Apply for Roles or Projects: Look for specific roles or projects (called “applications”) that match your skills and interests.

Tips for a successful volunteer experience

  • Check Regularly: Log in frequently to stay updated on new opportunities and upcoming events.

  • Set Communication Preferences: Customize your notifications in the Profile tab to ensure you don’t miss important updates from your organization.

  • Reach Out for Support: If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact your organization's volunteer coordinator or contact Timecounts support.

By following this guide, you'll be well on your way to maximizing your volunteer experience on Timecounts. Thank you for your commitment to making a difference!
