Where to edit a field
The location where a field is edited depends on the type of field. Profile Fields are managed centrally for your entire organization, while Additional Fields are managed directly within the form where they were created.
Editing a profile field
Profile Fields are managed centrally under Settings → Profile Fields. To edit a Profile Field, return to the Profile Fields page and make your changes there.
You can identify a Profile Field by opening the field settings. At the bottom of the panel, you'll see an Edit in Settings message.
Because Profile Fields can be used across multiple forms, volunteer profiles, directory views, and reports, any changes you make will automatically be reflected everywhere the field is used.
Editing an additional field
Additional Fields are specific to the form where they were created and can be edited directly within the form builder.
To make changes, click on the field and then click into the title or question text to edit it. When you're finished, click anywhere outside the field to save your changes.
Because Additional Fields are not shared across Timecounts, changes made to these fields only affect the current form.
