How to attach a form to an application for volunteers to complete during signup.

Why link a form to an application?

While Timecounts offers a built-in form builder, sharing a form alone doesn’t give you the control to review applications and qualify or decline volunteers. By linking the form to an application, you can collect the necessary information in a structured way, assess if volunteers are a good fit, and manage approvals. Applications also provide a professional landing page, making promoting the opportunity and managing the signup process easier.

How to attach a form to an application.

First, ensure the form you want to link is published so it appears as an option. Open the Application and click on the Details page across the top.

Scroll down to find the New Applicants Form section. By default, this is set to "No Form," meaning volunteers can apply with just their name and email. To select a form, click the arrow on the right side to expand the dropdown and highlight the form you wish to use. Don’t forget to click Save at the bottom of the page.
