Understanding background check pricing with Checkr
Checkr offers several background check packages, each priced based on the depth of screening and the databases included. The best package for your organization depends on the level of responsibility associated with the volunteer role.
Your organization is responsible for covering the cost of background checks, which is paid directly to Checkr. Timecounts doesn’t offer the option for volunteers to pay for their own checks within the platform. This is because asking individuals to pay out of pocket can create financial barriers and discourage participation, potentially excluding great volunteers who are eager to help but unable to afford the cost. If your organization still prefers to have volunteers cover the cost, that’s no problem, you’ll just need to arrange payment collection outside of Timecounts.
