How to delete your organization account.

If you're considering deleting your Timecounts account, please carefully review the following steps and information. Deleting your account is a permanent action, and we want to ensure you understand the implications before proceeding.

Important Considerations Before Deleting Your Account

  • Permanent Action: Deleting your Timecounts account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your account data, including events, reports, and user information, will be lost.

  • Privacy Rights: If you'd like to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us directly. We’re happy to assist with any data-related requests.

Deleting a Free Timecounts Account

Free users can request account deletion by contacting our support team directly.

  • Request Deletion: Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account. We’ll confirm your request within 24 hours and begin the deletion process.

  • What Happens Next: Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 3-5 business days. Please note that some data, such as invoices, may need to be retained for legal purposes (e.g., invoices must be kept for at least four years).

Deleting a Paid Timecounts Account

For users with a paid subscription, account deletion should be requested by the account owner or an admin.

  • Contact Admin: If you're not the account owner, contact the billing owner or admin of your organization to request account deletion.

  • What Happens Next: The request will be processed and the account will be deleted within 3-5 business days. Data retention policies for invoices apply, as mentioned above.

Additional Information

  • Irreversible Process: Once your account is deleted, all associated data will be permanently removed. We cannot recover deleted data or offer refunds for any unused portions of your subscription.

  • Organization Deletion: If you're an admin or billing owner and wish to delete your entire organization, please contact us. This action is irreversible and will result in the permanent loss of all data, users, and projects associated with the organization.
