Cannot find a volunteer when trying to assign

There can be a few reasons why a volunteer doesn't appear in the search when trying to assign to a shift or an event.

There could be several reasons why the volunteer you're searching for doesn't appear when you try to assign them to a shift or event. To help you better understand and resolve the issue, please read:

1. The volunteer still needs to be added to the Directory.

2. The shift requires that volunteers first be Qualified for an Application before they can be assigned.
​
3. They are already associated or listed within the event or shift signup but currently have a different status other than Confirmed. Please check if they are in the Invited, Requested, Waitlist, Cancelled, or Declined state. To avoid duplication, you will need to change the status. You may need to adjust the filters to see all statuses. You can also open the profile card for this volunteer and change the status there.
