Create Multiple Schedules

Create shift schedules for different opportunities.

Updated over a week ago

This feature is available on the Advanced and Pro Plans.

Create a New Schedule

To create a new schedule, click the 'New Schedule' button top right.

You will need to give your schedule a name. You can edit this name afterward, but it will be visible to volunteers on your hub, so keep it short and don't include dates in the name as schedules have an unlimited calendar so you'll be able to publish whatever time frame you want.

This will open directly to the Shifts view of your new schedule where you can start to build out your positions.

Why Create Multiple Schedules?

It may be useful to create separate schedules to group or promote different opportunities. Many organizations have a weekly or monthly ongoing shift schedule and then have special events or projects they want to promote separately. Most organizations find one schedule works well, so don't feel the need to separate where volunteers find their shifts.

How Will Multiple Schedules Appear to Volunteers?

When you create a new schedule it automatically adds a new box to the Find Opportunities page. You can go to Hub Editor / Opportunities to upload a photo and additional information about this shift schedule for volunteers.

If you are not ready to make this schedule visible even when shifts are unpublished, you can change the visibility to 'Link Only' in the Details page of the Schedule, this will hide it from the hub and only available when you publish and share a link. Or you can go to the Hub Editor / Details page and turn off the toggle for this Schedule.
